With a degree in Interior Environmental Design from Ball State University and more than 20 years of professional experience, Nan brings a refined balance of creative vision and technical expertise to every project. Her career includes a decade of active involvement in professional affiliations such as IIDA, along with board-level leadership roles that reflect her commitment to design excellence.
In July 2025, Nan founded Figalily le Design, DBA: Girton Design Group a multidisciplinary studio specializing in corporate and high-end residential interiors, as well as bespoke floral artistry. Her work seamlessly weaves interior design, project management, and curated floral expression to create immersive, thoughtfully layered environments that resonate with beauty and purpose.
However, her career includes more than two decades in Corporate America, where she has collaborated with a wide range of clients as both a Designer and Project Manager.
Her portfolio features work in multiple disciplines, Healthcare, Higher Education, Corporate and Hospitality; for organizations such as Chick-fil-A, the Indianapolis Urban League, Bank of America, Indiana University, IU Health, The State of Indiana and Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity Inc. to name a few.
At the heart of her work is a passion for creative storytelling through the built environment and floral artistry installations public and private. Whether designing an interior, curating a bespoke floral installation, or blending both disciplines into a single cohesive vision, she approaches each project with passion, intention, understanding, and an eye for beauty. Also, Nan's floral artistry is rooted in the same principles as her interiors, incorporating —balance, movement, texture, and emotion—creating experiences that feel personal, expressive, and unforgettable.
