About the Main Stairway & Library & Hall
These three areas are meant to cohesively flow together as you work your way upstairs. The main goal for these areas was to bring in some brightness where natural light is less abundant.
A neutral, cohesive paint color and new lighting provide a strong foundation, while the accessories throughout provide bold colors and lively patterns. The vintage chairs in the library were recovered to bring them new life in this historic home. The faux finishing on the stair wall alcove adds an unexpected pop of texture and highlights the unique architecture of the window. Vibrant artwork from local artists adds dimension and brightness in each space, while handcrafted rugs tie the spaces together.
